FeatherOK version 1.01 (19th February 2004)
======================

PURPOSE OF PROGRAM:

To allow the user to send e-mail to the appropriate Feathermail spamtrap address to retrieve the message in which he is interested, without having to type in a subject line, dummy body text, etc. in order to bypass Messenger Pro's netiquette checking!

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

This program requires the Toolbox modules. It will run on any version of RISC OS from 3.1 to 5. In order to generate e-mail, it also requires a copy of Justin Fletcher's GMail for RISC OS.

HOW TO USE:

First of all, you need to configure the program; FeatherOK needs to
know your address before it can send e-mail from you! Select
'Configure...' from the menu (or ADJUST-click on the iconbar) and fill
in the two fields with your name and e-mail address. The name is
optional - the address is required. Click on Save to store the data
for future sessions.

Now you are ready to use the program.

Feathermail will send their subscribers an auto-generated e-mail containing items in the format:

Feathermail spam trap report:
Received: 10 Feb 2004 1:50 GMT
For: bazley@feathermail.co.uk
From: Lloyds TSB online support <support@online.lloydstsb.co.uk>
Subject: Important notice to all customers
Spam detected for following reasons:
1. Content type is HTML
2. No message ID
To fetch this message anyway, send email to 1076377821spamtrap45207@feathermail.co.uk

In order to accept this e-mail, you would drag a selection containing the relevant reply address <1076377821spamtrap45207@feathermail.co.uk> out of the Messenger Pro window and onto FeatherOK's iconbar icon (or the little drop-box that opens up when you click on the iconbar). The selection can contain any amount of text surrounding the address. If FeatherOK cannot locate a suitable-looking address within the selection it will give an error.

Otherwise, a window will pop up displaying the address to which the outgoing message will be sent and asking you to confirm (this is to prevent potential unfortunate accidents). Press RETURN or select the Send icon, and Feathermail will generate and queue an automatic message to that destination. The From header will use the address you supplied - the Subject will be the destination address (this makes it easier to distinguish different messages in the queue later if you change your mind and want to delete it).
